Growth And Developmental Assessments
GROWTH refers to changes in human height, weight and structure.
DEVELOPMENT refers to a continuous process of changes through which task managing abilities of the individual are polished resulting in experiences and learning.
A prime function of the pediatrician is to monitor the developmental status of our patients. These appointments also provide parents with knowledge of their child’s development so they are better able to identify the proper care they need to deliver. These visits also offer an opportunity to ask questions or address any anxieties you may have regarding your child’s health or development.
