Pediatric Childhood And Adolescence Diabetes
Our diabetes services aim to improve diabetes control in children and adolescents. This is achieved through an individualized, comprehensive, age-appropriate and culturally sensitive approach to ensure safety and good short- and long-term diabetes outcomes.
We aim to help families of children with diabetes monitor and manage blood sugar levels on normal days as well as during illness, exercise and during sleep. These services are as follows:
- Initial public health assessment, diabetes awareness
- Determine the goal for each child individually
- Fine-tuning and careful follow-up during the initial stage.
- A comprehensive management plan (nutrition/insulin treatment/family and psychological conflicts)
- Regular examination every 2-3 months
