“My baby boy, who was only possible due to Dr Kozi’s expertise, is now 10. I truly believe miracles do happen.”

I was 41 years old, and had been married for two years. I was told I had diminished ovarian reserve, which was normal for someone my age. I came to talk to Dr Kozi, as it was very important to me and my family that I have a child. Dr Kozi explained to me I have only one follicle for second induction. I was very hesitant to continue, because we couldn’t afford to pay for a second cycle. He collected one egg, transferred one medium quality Day 5 embryo, and when the day came for my pregnancy test everyone in the team was excitedly waiting for the result. Now my baby boy whom I had as a result of Dr Kozi’s expertise is 10 years old. I truly believe miracles do happen.

“Because of Dr Kozi’s experience and research into poor responders to IVF, my embryo quality improved dramatically and I now have a healthy baby girl.”

My husband and I are both in our late thirties. I had tried IVF five times, and each time, my egg numbers were lower than expected. Worse than this though was the egg quality and therefore embryo quality was very bad, and I never became pregnant. During this time, Dr Kozi had begun new research* for poor responders – adding growth hormone to usual protocols. I agreed to take part, and after normal ovulation induction follow-up, Dr Kozi’s team collected six eggs. The quality was good, and all were mature and fertilised, but the best part was the embryo quality was much better than the previous ones I had. I became pregnant after two good embryo transfers, and delivered a normal healthy baby girl.

*Dr Kozi finished this research a year later, whereby it was accepted by one of the most prestigious journals on infertility, and so far it has had 32 citations.

“I couldn’t contain my happiness when I learned that I was finally pregnant after five years of trying, and I can’t thank Dr Kozi and all FMC staff enough.”

At first, I was hesitant to go to the Fertility Clinic at Feto Maternal Centre but then I met Dr Kozi on my initial visit which was in April 2017 – he was very warm and understanding. He explained what I needed to know about my case. I was planning to do my IVF treatment in the UK but the costs were too high.

I had one cycle of IVF treatment with Dr Kozi. He did ovulation induction for 12 days and then the egg collection. He told me that I had a reasonable number of good follicles, and successfully transferred two excellent embryos. After two weeks, I did my pregnancy test and the result was positive. I couldn’t contain my happiness when I learned that I was finally pregnant after five years of trying, and I can’t thank Dr Kozi and all FMC staff enough for their support and continuous care throughout the whole process. I still see another good doctor at FMC for my antenatal care.

“From the outset, I felt very comfortable with Dr Kozi; he’s very professional and approachable. When I discussed my case with him, he was honest and straightforward.”

I am 38 years old and I had been trying to get pregnant for three years. I’d been to different clinics in Doha and had three IUI cycles. I came across the Feto Maternal Centre when doing some more research on the internet. I booked an appointment with Dr Kozi on May 2017.

From the outset, I felt very comfortable with Dr Kozi; he’s very professional and approachable. When I discussed my case with him, he was honest and straightforward. He explained to me that our case has a good percentage of success for IVF treatment since we had already done IUI previously. After two months of consideration, I decided to do the procedure. I felt a bit of tension before I started the procedure but the staff made everything so much easier for me. Now, I am pregnant!
