Breastfeeding and Counseling is fundamental to the health development of children, and important for the health of their mothers as well as mother-child bonding/psychological well-being. However, even mothers who initiate breastfeeding satisfactorily often start complementary feeds or stop breastfeeding within a few weeks of delivery. These need to be addresses thoroughly and sensitively to be able to remove there obstacles.
The newborn’s preparedness and the need to apply individualized positioning and attachment techniques will make breastfeeding effective, easier for mother and child, enjoyable, healthy and painless for mother. The key is presenting early to the pediatricians/ breastfeeding and child nutrition counselor. Many mothers expressed their happiness and satisfaction with our breastfeeding consultation.
